Alberta Bound once again brings you some of the best and newest seminars possible.  Get ahead in your tattoo carreer and stand out above the rest! Great tattoo seminars are a way many top tattooists have advanced their carreers in one afternoon!  All seminars are open to anyone interested.  You can sign up online through paypal or pay at the door.  Just bring your paypal reciept with you for entry. Name does not have to match participant.  No refunds on seminars due to student non-attendance.

Sterilization: From Start to Finish

The Sterilization course from Health Educators is an 7-hour hands-on workshop that not only examines the theory behind cleaning, decontamination and sterilization - it thoroughly explains and demonstrates the sterilization process in a body modification studio setting. Documentation, troubleshooting, equipment management and quality control practices are also addresses.

Bloodborne Pathogens Course

The Bloodborne Pathogens course by Health Educators is by far the most comprehensive industry-specific Bloodborne Pathogens training program available for the body modification industry. This in-depth 7-hour course covers both regulations and training requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030), and is unique in that it is taught and applied specifically to the body modification industry. Topics covered include the revised federal needle safety guidelines, revised Hepatitis B vaccination requirements, requirements of OSHA's mandated Exposure Control Plan, record keeping requirements, and the latest interpretations covering topics as they relate to traditional tattooing, cosmetic tattooing and body piercing. A brief overview of infection control is also covered.

Larry Brogan will be offering a seminar based on his 20 years of tattoo knowledge and experience.  He has owned and operated one of the Midwest's busiest shops for over 15 years and has traveled to countless tattoo conventions doing as many as 21 in a single year.  His work has been published world wide and his list of awards runs on forever.  The seminar will cover all aspects of the business including tips on running a shop, traveling to conventions, dealing with airports and foreign countries, getting your tattoos published, advertising, Internet exposure and a ton of little tips and tricks that will make your tattooing easier and more enjoyable.  Larry will discus equipment troubleshooting tricks, stencil making and application tricks, laying out large scale tattoos and many more helpful bits of knowledge he has picked up over the past two decades in the tattoo industry.

This is in no way a "how to tattoo class" but a how to get the most out of your tattoo career on a daily basis by increasing productivity and profit and increasing your artworks exposure in the industry.  All artists of any skill level can and will benefit from this wealth of knowledge.  Printed information will be handed out that will be part of an upcoming book Larry is writing covering all the above information and much more.
