Alberta Bound once again brings you some of the best and newest seminars possible.  Get ahead in your tattoo carreer and stand out above the rest! Great tattoo seminars are a way many top tattooists have advanced their carreers in one afternoon!  All seminars are open to anyone interested.  You can sign up online through paypal or pay at the door.  Just bring your paypal reciept with you for entry. Name does not have to match participant.  No refunds on seminars due to student non-attendance.

Sterilization: From Start to Finish

The Sterilization course from Health Educators is an 7-hour hands-on workshop that not only examines the theory behind cleaning, decontamination and sterilization - it thoroughly explains and demonstrates the sterilization process in a body modification studio setting. Documentation, troubleshooting, equipment management and quality control practices are also addresses.

Bloodborne Pathogens Course

The Bloodborne Pathogens course by Health Educators is by far the most comprehensive industry-specific Bloodborne Pathogens training program available for the body modification industry. This in-depth 7-hour course covers both regulations and training requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030), and is unique in that it is taught and applied specifically to the body modification industry. Topics covered include the revised federal needle safety guidelines, revised Hepatitis B vaccination requirements, requirements of OSHA's mandated Exposure Control Plan, record keeping requirements, and the latest interpretations covering topics as they relate to traditional tattooing, cosmetic tattooing and body piercing. A brief overview of infection control is also covered.

A stripped down look at the basics of acrylic painting. Focusing on elements like setting up a proper palette, materials, and brush control.

Joe Capobianco, Dirty Little Secrets Seminar

Known as one of the industry's best at custom pin ups, Joe Capobianco will be showing many of his tattoo secrest in this informative seminar.

The seminar will cover start to finish my approach on a tattoo, and all the in's and out's as I see them. This means I will go over the type of refrence I use, to the pencils, and pens I use to do my sketches, and line drawings. Also from the needle set ups I'm using, and the pigments, and color combinations I work with.

The seminar will include a 16 page full color Booklet (care of my publishers at Presto art), which will reference the seminar. As well as a two hour DvD. The DvD is an interview done for Tattoo Now, back in February. This DvD is a candid talk with yours truely, hosted by Hope Galleries, Julio Rodriguez. We cover a good chunk of my career, and my thoughts on the industry today. So a fair bit of shit talkin, all while watching me complete a hand tattoo, start to finish.

Improve your tattoo work from Las Vegas Hart & Huntington artist Jime Litwalk.  Jime will put the main emphasis of his seminar on drawing/sketching. As the title indicates, he wants to put the focus on the simple construction of his designs: clearly visible structures without unnecessary or confusing elements.  The seminar's aim is to show a way for every individual artist to improve their style through clarity and simplicity.

Jime will explain the path from idea, to sketch, and right to the finished design. Emphasis on the buildup of the lines, shades, and colors creating the realization of the design within the tattoo.

It’s recommended to bring drawing equipment with you.
